Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Technician to join our state-of-the-art laboratory in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabricating high-quality dental prosthetics, including crowns, bridges, veneers, and removable appliances, utilizing both traditional and digital workflows. Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate a wide range of dental prosthetics, including fixed and removable restorations, according to prescribed specifications and timelines.
- Utilize both traditional laboratory techniques (waxing, casting, porcelain layering) and advanced digital technologies (CAD/CAM software, 3D printing).
- Ensure all restorations meet the highest standards of quality, aesthetics, and fit.
- Collaborate effectively with dentists and other team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform quality control checks on all finished products before delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental materials and technologies through continuous learning.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Dental Technician in a commercial lab setting.
- Proficiency in fabricating fixed prosthetics (crowns, bridges, veneers) and/or removable prosthetics (dentures, partials).
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, and materials science.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, aesthetically pleasing restorations.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to precision.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or certification from an accredited dental technology program.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Exocad, 3Shape) and digital impression workflows.
- Ceramics specialization or advanced experience in porcelain layering.
- Certified Dental Technician (CDT) designation.
