Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and professional Delivery Drivers to join our growing team in Jebel Ali, Dubai. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to deliver packages to customers within specified timeframes.
- Verify contents of shipments against shipping documents before and after deliveries.
- Handle cash and process electronic payments for Cash-on-Delivery (COD) orders accurately.
- Maintain delivery logs and records, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained.
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions.
Required Skills
- Valid UAE driving license (manual and automatic)
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of Dubai's road network and traffic regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights
- Customer-service oriented with a professional demeanor
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with handheld devices for delivery tracking
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems
- Ability to speak basic English and Arabic
