Job Description
Join Noon, the region’s leading e-commerce platform, as a dedicated Delivery Driver. We are looking for reliable and customer-focused individuals to ensure timely and safe delivery of packages to our valued customers across Dubai. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages to customers within specified timeframes.
- Verify contents of shipments against shipping documents upon loading and delivery.
- Obtain customer signatures and process payments for delivered goods when required.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records, reporting any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the delivery vehicle, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations, prioritizing safety at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service, handling inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Assist with loading and unloading packages as needed at the distribution center.
Required Skills
- Valid UAE driving license (light vehicle).
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of Dubai's roads and traffic regulations.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition, capable of lifting and carrying packages.
- Effective communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience with handheld devices or delivery management software.
- Familiarity with various types of delivery vehicles.
- Ability to communicate in Arabic or other regional languages.
- Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
