Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and professional Delivery Drivers to join our growing team in Abu Dhabi. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for a stable career with a global logistics leader. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of packages to our customers across Saadiyat Island and surrounding areas in Abu Dhabi. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to deliver packages to customers within specified timeframes.
- Verify packages against delivery manifests and ensure accuracy before departing from the distribution center.
- Load and unload packages from company vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, providing excellent service.
- Collect payments from customers when required, handling cash and processing electronic transactions accurately.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery, failed deliveries, and customer interactions.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of company vehicles.
Required Skills
- Valid UAE driving license (manual preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience, preferably in delivery or logistics.
- Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi road networks and local areas.
- Ability to read maps and use GPS navigation systems effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry packages of various weights and sizes.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with handheld delivery devices and logistics software.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
- Demonstrated reliability and a strong work ethic.
