Job Description
Aramex is looking for dedicated and professional Delivery Drivers to join our growing team in Jumeirah, Dubai. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to deliver packages and documents to designated addresses within specified timeframes.
- Verify contents of shipments against shipping documents and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transit and delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or defects.
- Collaborate with dispatch and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with loading and unloading packages as needed.
Required Skills
- Valid UAE Driving License (heavy vehicle license is a plus).
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience, preferably in a delivery or logistics role.
- Excellent knowledge of Dubai roads and geographic areas.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with handheld delivery devices or logistics software.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
- Proven track record of reliability and punctuality.
