Job Description

Etihad Airways is actively seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi as both Delivery Drivers and Airport Ground Staff. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, documents, and passengers as required by the company’s operations. As Airport Ground Staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth airport operations, providing essential services to our passengers and aircraft. We are looking for candidates who are committed to safety, customer service, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• For Delivery Driver:
• Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods, documents, or personnel to designated locations within Abu Dhabi and surrounding areas.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and maintenance, reporting any issues promptly.
• Ensure timely delivery and collection, maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the assigned vehicle.
• For Airport Ground Staff:
• Assist passengers with baggage handling, check-in, and boarding procedures.
• Direct aircraft on the tarmac and assist with loading and unloading cargo and baggage.
• Operate various ground support equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure the cleanliness and readiness of aircraft cabins and ramp areas.
• Provide clear and helpful information to passengers and crew.
• Respond to operational needs and emergencies promptly and professionally.
• Adhere to strict safety and security protocols at all times.

Required Skills

• Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Valid UAE Driving License (for Delivery Driver role).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
• Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform duties that may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety and security.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a delivery, logistics, or aviation ground handling role.
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi road networks (for Delivery Driver).
• Additional language proficiency (e.g., Arabic, Hindi, Tagalog).
• Experience operating ground service equipment (for Airport Ground Staff).
