Job Description
Aramex is looking for dedicated and professional Delivery Drivers to join our team in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to build a career in logistics with a globally recognized company. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of parcels and packages to our valued customers throughout various areas of Dubai. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to deliver packages to customers within specified timeframes.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle.
- Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
- Collect payments for delivered items and record transactions.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing inquiries and resolving minor issues professionally.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delays to the dispatch team immediately.
Required Skills
- Valid UAE driving license (manual or automatic).
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of Dubai's road network and traffic regulations.
- Ability to operate a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with a logistics or courier company.
- Familiarity with handheld devices for delivery tracking.
- Ability to communicate in multiple languages (e.g., Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, English).
