Job Description
Join Talabat as a dedicated Delivery Driver and become an essential part of our mission to deliver delightful experiences to our customers across Jumeirah Lakes Towers and surrounding areas in Dubai. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for timely and safe delivery of food and groceries, ensuring customer satisfaction with every order. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food and grocery orders to customers' doorsteps within the designated delivery zones.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and road safety regulations in Dubai.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of your assigned delivery vehicle/motorcycle.
- Communicate effectively with customers, restaurant/store partners, and the dispatch team.
- Accurately follow delivery instructions and utilize navigation tools to optimize routes.
- Represent Talabat's brand positively during all interactions.
Required Skills
- Valid UAE motorcycle driving license (or equivalent, convertible to UAE license).
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of Dubai roads and geographic areas, particularly Jumeirah Lakes Towers.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to use smartphone applications for navigation and order management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with a food or grocery delivery platform.
- Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, Filipino).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
