Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Defense Analyst to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting various defense programs by conducting in-depth research, analysis, and reporting on military capabilities, geopolitical trends, and emerging threats. This position requires a strong understanding of defense policies, technologies, and strategic planning processes, with a focus on providing actionable intelligence and recommendations to decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of global defense capabilities, military doctrines, and geopolitical dynamics.
• Evaluate the operational effectiveness and strategic implications of defense systems and technologies.
• Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and presentations for internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Monitor and assess emerging threats, technological advancements, and shifts in defense policy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, program managers, and policy experts, to integrate analytical insights into program development.
• Develop and maintain databases of defense-related information and analytical models.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations on strategic planning and program execution.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Political Science, National Security, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in defense analysis, intelligence, or military operations.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing professional reports and briefings.
• Proficiency in data analysis and research methodologies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Demonstrated understanding of defense acquisition processes and military planning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Experience with advanced analytical tools and software (e.g., geospatial information systems, statistical software).
• Prior experience working with the Department of Defense or other government agencies.
• Knowledge of specific military domains (e.g., air, space, cyber, naval).
• Active security clearance (Secret or Top Secret).
