Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and efficient Data Entry Clerk to join our team in a hybrid capacity. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our vital client and operational data. The successful candidate will be responsible for inputting, verifying, and organizing various types of information into our systems, ensuring high levels of precision and confidentiality. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately inputting large volumes of data from various sources into designated systems and databases.
- Verifying data for accuracy and completeness, correcting errors as needed.
- Maintaining data integrity and confidentiality in accordance with company policies and GDPR regulations.
- Organizing and filing documents, both physical and digital, to ensure easy retrieval.
- Performing regular data backups and ensuring data security.
- Assisting with data clean-up projects and database maintenance.
- Generating basic reports or summaries of entered data when required.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure data consistency and timely processing.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in data entry or a similar administrative role (minimum 6 months).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Basic understanding of data privacy principles (e.g., GDPR).
