Job Description

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and motivated Data Annotation Specialist to join our AI & Machine Learning team. This is a crucial entry-level role responsible for labeling and annotating various types of data (text, images, audio, video) to train and improve our machine learning models. Your work will directly impact the performance and accuracy of Google’s AI-powered products and services. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute from anywhere in Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately annotate and label diverse datasets according to established guidelines and taxonomies.
  • Perform quality assurance on annotated data, identifying and correcting inconsistencies or errors.
  • Provide clear and concise feedback on annotation guidelines to improve clarity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to understand project requirements and contribute to model improvement.
  • Maintain high levels of productivity and quality in a fast-paced environment.
  • Participate in training sessions to learn new annotation tools and project methodologies.
