Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Customer Support Engineer to join our global support team in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level technical support to Oracle customers, diagnosing and resolving complex software and system issues.
  • Manage and prioritize a queue of customer support tickets, ensuring timely and effective resolution in line with SLAs.
  • Collaborate with development teams to escalate and resolve product defects and enhancement requests.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and best practices in the knowledge base.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical incidents.
  • Assist customers with product configuration, deployment, and optimization strategies.
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues to prevent future problems.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database concepts (e.g., Oracle Database, MySQL).
  • Experience with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global team environment.
  • Experience in customer-facing technical support roles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Knowledge of enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM) or middleware technologies.
  • Oracle certifications (e.g., OCA, OCP).
  • Experience working with diverse international customers.
