Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Customer Success Assistant to join our remote team. This is a beginner-friendly, full-time position, perfect for individuals passionate about helping others and eager to start a career in tech. You will be instrumental in ensuring our merchants have a seamless and successful experience with Shopify, acting as their first point of contact for inquiries and support. This position is 100% remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional support to Shopify merchants via email, chat, and phone, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Guide merchants through various Shopify features, troubleshooting common problems and offering solutions.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate internal teams when necessary.
  • Document all interactions and solutions accurately within our CRM system.
  • Educate merchants on best practices to optimize their online stores and grow their businesses.
  • Gather merchant feedback to help improve products and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall customer experience.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a knack for explaining complex information clearly.
  • High degree of empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Ability to learn new software and tools quickly.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with web browsers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, or a related client-facing role.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms or online business.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk).
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
