Job Description

As a Criminal Intelligence Analyst at GardaWorld, you will play a critical role in collecting, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence related to criminal activities and security threats. This position involves supporting law enforcement and security operations by providing actionable insights, contributing to investigations, and enhancing overall protective strategies to safeguard our clients and the public. You will work within a dynamic environment, utilizing advanced analytical tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, evaluate, and synthesize complex data from various sources to identify criminal activities, emerging threats, and patterns.
  • Develop and maintain intelligence databases, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and accessibility of information.
  • Prepare detailed intelligence reports, briefings, and presentations for internal teams, senior management, and external partners.
  • Collaborate closely with law enforcement agencies, government bodies, and other security professionals to share information and coordinate intelligence efforts.
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques (e.g., link analysis, temporal analysis, geospatial mapping) to map criminal networks, predict activities, and assess risks.
  • Provide expert testimony or support during legal proceedings as required, defending intelligence findings.
  • Stay current with evolving criminal methodologies, technologies, legislative changes, and intelligence best practices through continuous learning and professional development.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience of at least 3 years in criminal intelligence analysis, law enforcement intelligence, or national security roles.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the demonstrated ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and draw sound conclusions.
  • Proficiency in intelligence software and analytical tools (e.g., i2 Analyst's Notebook, Palantir, ArcGIS, open-source intelligence platforms).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear, concise report writing, effective briefings, and presentations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Solid understanding of criminal justice systems, relevant legislation, privacy considerations, and ethical intelligence practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Political Science, International Relations, Security Studies, or a closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant analytical, security, or criminal justice discipline.
  • Professional certification in intelligence analysis (e.g., Certified Criminal Intelligence Analyst, Global Intelligence Analyst).
  • Extensive experience with open-source intelligence (OSINT) gathering, verification, and analysis techniques.
  • Fluency in additional languages, particularly those relevant to regional or international crime patterns.
  • Experience working within cross-jurisdictional intelligence teams or task forces.
