Job Description

As a Remote Content Moderator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and positive online environment for millions of users across Meta’s platforms. You will be responsible for reviewing user-generated content, identifying violations of community guidelines, and taking appropriate action. This is a critical role that requires a keen eye for detail, strong judgment, and a commitment to upholding platform integrity. Key Responsibilities

  • Review user-generated content (e.g., videos, images, text) to ensure compliance with Meta's Community Standards.
  • Accurately identify and categorize policy violations such as hate speech, misinformation, graphic violence, and harassment.
  • Take appropriate action on content violations, including removal, escalation, or applying warnings.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in content moderation tasks.
  • Stay updated on evolving content policies and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure consistent application of policies.
  • Handle sensitive and potentially disturbing content responsibly and with resilience.
