Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Remote Content Moderator to join our global team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for reviewing user-generated content across Meta’s platforms, ensuring compliance with our community standards and guidelines. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility while maintaining high standards of content safety and user experience. This role requires careful attention to sensitive material, and comprehensive wellness support is provided to all team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and moderate user-generated content (e.g., text, images, videos) to ensure adherence to community guidelines and terms of service.
- Identify and escalate complex content issues, policy violations, and emerging trends to relevant internal teams.
- Utilize moderation tools and software efficiently to process content queues.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency in content moderation decisions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of moderation policies and processes by providing feedback.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on policy changes and new content trends.
- Work collaboratively with a diverse, remote team to uphold platform integrity.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of online community standards and digital safety.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills, especially under pressure.
