Job Description

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Content Manager to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of content creators, writers, and editors, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality output.

• Conduct thorough content audits and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Utilize analytics tools to monitor content performance, identify trends, and inform future content decisions.
• Ensure all content adheres to BBC's editorial standards, legal requirements, and brand guidelines.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content creation and distribution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in content management, digital publishing, or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience developing and executing successful content strategies.
• Strong editorial judgment and excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Proven ability to manage projects and teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Deep understanding of SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
• Eligibility for UK visa sponsorship (if applicable).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience working in a large media organization or public service broadcaster.
