Job Description
Knutson Construction is seeking enthusiastic and hardworking General Laborers to join our construction team in Rochester, Minnesota. This is an immediate start position for individuals ready to contribute to a variety of critical construction tasks. As a General Laborer, you will play a vital role in supporting our skilled tradespeople and ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of tasks involving physical labor on construction sites.
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazardous materials.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools under direct supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespersons (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.) as needed.
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding, shoring, and other temporary structures.
- Follow all company and site-specific safety regulations and procedures diligently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact earth.
- Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment and movement of materials.
