Job Description
Join Hoffman Construction Company as a Construction General Helper and kickstart your career in the construction industry! No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive on-the-job training. You will assist skilled tradespeople, maintain a safe and clean worksite, and support various construction activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled craft workers (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.) with various tasks.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at the job site.
- Prepare worksites by cleaning debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing tools.
- Operate hand and power tools safely under supervision.
- Dig trenches, compact earth, and perform other manual labor as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including waste disposal and material sorting.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Support the overall project schedule and team efforts to ensure timely completion.
