Job Description
Pomerleau is looking for dedicated and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as Construction Flaggers / Traffic Control Persons in Sherbrooke, Quebec. This entry-level position is crucial for maintaining a safe work environment for our crews and the public around construction sites. Key Responsibilities
- Directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic safely around construction zones using signs and hand signals.
- Communicating effectively with construction crews, heavy equipment operators, and the public.
- Setting up and maintaining traffic control equipment, including cones, barricades, and signage.
- Monitoring traffic flow and adjusting control measures as needed to ensure safety.
- Adhering strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Reporting any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors immediately.
- Working effectively as part of a team to achieve project goals.
