Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance (GRC) Analyst to join our team in Austin, Texas. This role is crucial for ensuring IBM’s adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices across our global operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, with a particular focus on technology and data privacy regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and compliance audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas of non-compliance.
• Develop, implement, and maintain GRC policies, procedures, and controls.
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate their impact to relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and filings.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance best practices and policies.
• Collaborate with legal, IT, and business units to ensure integrated GRC solutions.
• Manage and track compliance-related incidents and corrective actions.
• Utilize GRC tools and platforms to streamline compliance processes.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in GRC, information security, or internal audit roles.
• Strong understanding of GRC frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT, SOX).
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CRISC, GRCP).
• Experience with GRC software platforms (e.g., ServiceNow GRC, Archer).
• Knowledge of cloud security principles and compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
