Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Compliance (GRC) Analyst to join our dynamic team in Vancouver, British Columbia. You will work on diverse projects, helping organizations identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor compliance risks across various industries. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of GRC programs and policies.
- Conduct risk assessments, identify control deficiencies, and recommend remediation strategies.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on client operations and compliance.
- Prepare detailed reports on compliance status, risk exposure, and governance effectiveness for management.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with GRC objectives.
- Support the implementation of GRC technology solutions.
- Provide training and guidance to client staff on GRC best practices and compliance requirements.
- Participate in internal and external audits related to GRC frameworks.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of GRC principles, methodologies, and frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 27001, NIST).
- Experience with regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX, PCI DSS, local financial regulations).
- Proficiency in risk assessment and control testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a GRC, compliance, risk management, or internal audit role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, GRCP).
- Experience with GRC software platforms (e.g., ServiceNow GRC, Archer, MetricStream).
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Prior experience in a consulting environment.
- Fluency in French is an asset.
