Job Description
PwC is seeking an experienced and strategic Compensation and Benefits Manager to join our dynamic Human Resources team in Manchester, UK. This role is pivotal in developing, implementing, and managing competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent across our organisation. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring our C&B strategies are aligned with business objectives, market trends, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and administer competitive compensation structures, including base pay, variable pay, and incentive plans.
- Manage and optimise the organisation's benefits programs, including health, retirement, and other employee welfare initiatives.
- Conduct thorough market research and participate in salary surveys to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Analyse compensation and benefits data, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for senior management.
- Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with local and national regulations and policies.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to advise on C&B matters and support talent management initiatives.
- Lead annual compensation review processes and benefits enrolment periods.
- Develop and deliver clear communication materials to employees regarding C&B programs.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, brokers, and consultants.
- Oversee the visa sponsorship process for eligible employees, ensuring compliance and smooth transitions.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in compensation and benefits management, preferably within a large, complex organisation.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and financial modelling.
- In-depth knowledge of compensation principles, job evaluation methodologies, and benefits administration.
- Familiarity with UK employment law and HMRC regulations pertaining to compensation and benefits.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, CCP).
- Experience with global mobility and visa sponsorship processes.
- Experience working with large-scale HR transformation projects.
- Knowledge of pensions and defined contribution plans in the UK.
