Job Description

Sberbank is seeking an experienced and strategic Compensation and Benefits Manager to join our Human Resources team in St. Petersburg. This critical role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of market trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in total rewards. This position offers visa sponsorship for qualified international candidates looking to relocate to St. Petersburg, Russia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies and programs aligned with Sberbank's business objectives and talent strategy.
  • Conduct regular market analysis, benchmarking, and salary surveys to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness of our total rewards offerings.
  • Manage the annual compensation review process, including salary adjustments, bonus plans, and long-term incentive programs.
  • Administer and optimize all employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other employee perks.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and internal policies related to compensation and benefits in Russia.
  • Develop and deliver clear communication materials and training programs to educate employees and managers on compensation and benefits policies.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and senior leadership to advise on compensation and benefits matters, including job evaluations and offer negotiations.
  • Oversee the performance management system and link it effectively to compensation outcomes.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of existing programs and recommend improvements to enhance employee engagement and retention.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits management.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing robust total rewards programs.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits best practices, market trends, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CCP, CEBS).
  • Experience working in the financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with Russian labor law and compensation practices.
  • Proficiency in Russian language (spoken).
  • Experience with global mobility and visa sponsorship processes.
