Job Description
Lund’s Fisheries Inc. is seeking dedicated and resilient individuals to join our commercial fishing fleet as Fishermen/Fisherwomen. This is a unique opportunity for motivated candidates who possess a strong work ethic, an aptitude for physically demanding work, and a commitment to maritime safety. As part of our team, you will contribute to the daily operations of our vessels, engaging in all aspects of offshore fishing, from deployment and retrieval of gear to sorting and processing catch. This role demands a high degree of adaptability, teamwork, and an ability to thrive in challenging marine environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the deployment, retrieval, and repair of fishing gear (e.g., nets, traps, lines)
- Assist with the safe handling, sorting, and processing of various fish and seafood species onboard the vessel
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the vessel, fishing equipment, and living quarters
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, maritime regulations, and company policies
- Monitor fishing equipment and vessel conditions, reporting any issues to the captain or senior crew
- Work cooperatively as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication and support for fellow crew members
- Assist with docking, mooring, and other vessel operations as directed
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and strength for demanding manual labor in various weather conditions
- Ability to work long hours at sea, often in challenging and dynamic environments

Preferred Qualifications
