Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Develop and deploy automated solutions for cloud resource provisioning, monitoring, and management.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and scalability in the cloud.
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into all cloud solutions and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud-related issues, providing expert-level support.
- Participate in on-call rotation to support critical cloud systems.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.
- Document cloud architecture, processes, and operational procedures.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, Serverless, Networking, Security).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., ARM Templates, Terraform).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices in a cloud environment.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Developer Associate, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
- Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) in cloud environments.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
