Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and meticulous Cleaning Staff to join our team at the Omni Las Colinas Hotel in Irving, Texas. As a vital member of our hotel operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout our facilities. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and vacuuming in guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Ensure all assigned areas are clean, tidy, and organized according to hotel standards and safety guidelines.
• Replenish supplies in guest rooms and public restrooms, including linens, toiletries, and amenities.
• Handle and dispose of waste properly, including recycling and hazardous materials, following established protocols.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items to management promptly.
• Respond to special guest requests in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition and ensure proper storage.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Required Skills

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe use.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar cleaning role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of various cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Bilingual skills (e.g., English/Spanish).
