Job Description

Live Nation Canada is seeking an exceptionally talented and innovative Choreographer to join our dynamic production team. This is a unique opportunity for a visionary artist to contribute to large-scale productions, concerts, and events, bringing creative movement and artistic expression to life on stage. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative choreographic concepts for diverse live entertainment productions, including concerts, festivals, and theatrical shows.
• Direct and rehearse performers, ensuring high-quality execution, artistic integrity, and adherence to the overall creative vision.
• Collaborate closely with directors, producers, lighting designers, costume designers, and other creative teams to integrate choreography seamlessly into productions.
• Adapt choreography to various stage sizes, venue types, and performer skill levels, maintaining artistic impact and technical precision.
• Maintain strict adherence to production schedules and budget guidelines, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Contribute actively to the overall artistic vision and creative direction of projects, offering insights and fresh perspectives.
• Ensure performer safety during all rehearsals and performances by establishing and enforcing clear guidelines and practices.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 4 years of professional choreography experience, specifically within the live entertainment industry.
• A strong, demonstrated portfolio of successful choreographic works for diverse productions.
• Expertise in a variety of dance styles, such as contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, classical, or theatrical movement.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and guide performers.
• Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong understanding of music theory, rhythm, and effective stage blocking techniques.
• Eligibility for Canadian visa sponsorship is a prerequisite for this role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dance, Performing Arts, or a related artistic field.
• Extensive experience choreographing for large-scale national or international tours or major theatrical productions.
• Proficiency with choreographic software or visualization tools to aid in concept development and communication.
• An established network of professional dancers and performers within the industry.
• Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.
