Job Description

We are seeking an exceptionally talented and innovative Choreographer to join our artistic team. This is a unique opportunity for a visionary individual to contribute to the creation and evolution of world-class productions. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and implementing unique choreographic sequences that enhance our shows’ narrative and artistic vision. This role requires a blend of creative flair, technical expertise, and an ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic international team. Key Responsibilities

• Develop original and innovative choreographic concepts that align with the artistic direction of various productions.
• Teach, rehearse, and refine dance and movement sequences with a diverse cast of artists, ensuring high standards of execution.
• Collaborate closely with directors, costume designers, lighting designers, and other creative team members.
• Provide constructive feedback and motivation to performers, fostering a positive and productive rehearsal environment.
• Adapt choreography to suit the unique skills and physical capabilities of individual artists while maintaining artistic integrity.
• Contribute to the overall artistic vision and development of new shows and existing repertoire.
• Manage rehearsal schedules and ensure timely completion of choreographic segments.
• Stay abreast of contemporary dance trends and integrate new techniques and styles where appropriate.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 4 years of professional choreography experience in a theatrical, circus, or live performance setting.
• Demonstrated ability to create original and compelling movement narratives.
• Strong understanding of various dance styles, techniques, and terminology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse group of performers.
• Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in English; French language skills are a significant asset.
• Bachelor's degree in Dance, Performing Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with circus artists or in a multidisciplinary performance environment.
• Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of choreographic works.
• Experience with international production teams and diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Master's degree in a relevant artistic discipline.
