Job Description

We are seeking a warm, responsible, and experienced Childminder to provide exceptional care for the children of our valued staff members. This role involves creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment, supporting children’s development, and maintaining clear communication with parents. The ideal candidate will be passionate about childcare and committed to fostering a positive and educational experience for children of various ages.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and engaging supervision for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, including educational games, creative arts, and outdoor play.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, adhering to any dietary restrictions or allergies.
• Assist with personal hygiene, including diaper changing, potty training, and bathing as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized play and living environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's daily activities, progress, and any concerns.
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and follow emergency protocols.
• Foster a respectful and supportive relationship with the children, encouraging positive behavior and development.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in childcare or a related field (e.g., nannying, daycare, early childhood education).
• Excellent understanding of child development stages and age-appropriate activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.
• Ability to manage multiple children and diverse age groups effectively.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• A clean background check and verifiable references.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Previous experience working in a structured childcare setting or for a large organization.
• Knowledge of local educational standards and cultural considerations.
• Ability to speak multiple languages (e.g., English and a local dialect).
