Job Description
We are seeking a warm, responsible, and experienced Childminder to provide exceptional care for the children of our valued staff members. This role involves creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment, supporting children’s development, and maintaining clear communication with parents. The ideal candidate will be passionate about childcare and committed to fostering a positive and educational experience for children of various ages.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and engaging supervision for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
 - Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, including educational games, creative arts, and outdoor play.
 - Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, adhering to any dietary restrictions or allergies.
 - Assist with personal hygiene, including diaper changing, potty training, and bathing as needed.
 - Maintain a clean and organized play and living environment.
 - Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's daily activities, progress, and any concerns.
 - Administer basic first aid when necessary and follow emergency protocols.
 - Foster a respectful and supportive relationship with the children, encouraging positive behavior and development.
 
Required Skills
- Proven experience in childcare or a related field (e.g., nannying, daycare, early childhood education).
 - Excellent understanding of child development stages and age-appropriate activities.
 - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
 - Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.
 - Ability to manage multiple children and diverse age groups effectively.
 - Basic first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
 - A clean background check and verifiable references.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
 - Previous experience working in a structured childcare setting or for a large organization.
 - Knowledge of local educational standards and cultural considerations.
