Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated C++ Developer to join our dynamic technology team in Wilmington, Delaware. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining high-performance, low-latency applications that support our core financial platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve robust C++ applications and services for financial trading and data processing systems.
- Collaborate with product owners, quantitative analysts, and other engineering teams to define system requirements and specifications.
- Optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring high quality code and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production and non-production environments.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and strategic planning for future system enhancements.
- Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team.
Required Skills
- Expertise in C++11/14/17 development on Linux or Windows platforms.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
- Experience with multi-threading, concurrency, and high-performance computing.
- Proficiency with debugging and profiling tools.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with distributed systems and message queues (e.g., Kafka, AMPS, ZeroMQ).

- Experience in the financial industry, particularly with trading systems or market data processing.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python.
