Job Description

As a Retail Buyer at Nordstrom, you will be instrumental in shaping our product assortments, driving sales, and enhancing the customer experience. Key Responsibilities

Required Skills

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in retail buying or a related merchandising role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and profitability targets.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent understanding of retail math and financial metrics.
  • Proficiency in retail planning software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
  • Experience with visa sponsorship processes is a plus but not a requirement for the candidate, rather it's for the company to provide.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
  • Experience buying for a large-scale retail company.
