Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Bug Reporting Assistant to join our Quality Assurance team in Cottbus. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects across various products and platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Execute pre-defined test cases and identify software bugs or anomalies across various platforms and devices.
- Document detailed bug reports, including clear steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual observed behavior.
- Categorize and prioritize identified bugs based on severity, impact, and frequency.
- Communicate findings effectively and concisely to developers, QA engineers, and project managers.
- Track the status of reported bugs from initial discovery through to verification of fixes.
- Assist in maintaining and updating test documentation and bug reporting guidelines.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and testing methodologies.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional analytical thinking abilities.
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and quality assurance principles.
- Proficiency with common office software applications (e.g., MS Office Suite, Google Workspace).
