Job Description

Join our dynamic team at Four Seasons Hotel Austin as a Part-Time Bar Staff / Bartender. We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to craft exceptional beverages and deliver outstanding service to our discerning guests. This role requires an evening availability to cater to our vibrant bar and lounge operations. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere, ensuring guest satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our luxury establishment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Four Seasons' standards and recipes.
• Interact with guests, take orders, and provide recommendations on drink selections.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as necessary to ensure responsible service.
• Assist in inventory management, including stocking, rotating, and ordering bar supplies.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
• Stay informed about current beverage trends and new products to enhance menu offerings.

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume or luxury setting.
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, and classic and contemporary cocktails.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• TABC certification and food handler's permit (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with a luxury hotel brand or fine dining establishment.
• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Fluency in multiple languages.
• Culinary or hospitality degree/certificate.
