Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Avionics Technician to join our team in Denver, CO. This position is open to qualified international candidates and includes visa sponsorship. As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on complex aircraft avionics systems, ensuring the highest standards of safety and operational readiness. You will work on a variety of cutting-edge aerospace platforms, contributing to critical projects that advance technology and national security. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and engineering drawings.
  • Conduct functional tests and operational checks on newly installed or repaired systems.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance performed, including parts used and hours expended.
  • Ensure compliance with all FAA regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to diagnose complex system malfunctions.
  • Install, calibrate, and upgrade various avionics components and software.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced technicians.

Required Skills

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate or equivalent international certification.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in avionics maintenance on military or commercial aircraft.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing complex electrical and electronic systems.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical data.
  • Ability to use specialized test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with specific aircraft platforms (e.g., F-16, C-130, commercial airliners).
  • Associate's degree or higher in Aviation Electronics, Avionics Technology, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with digital avionics systems and data bus architectures (e.g., MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429).
  • Prior experience working in a defense contractor or military aviation environment.
  • Advanced certifications in specialized avionics systems or components.
