Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Avionics Technician to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri. The Avionics Technician will be responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft avionics systems and components. Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, removal, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft avionics systems and components.
• Interpret complex wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals to diagnose and resolve avionics issues.
• Conduct functional tests and operational checks of various aircraft systems, including communication, navigation, flight control, and radar systems.
• Document all maintenance actions, discrepancies, and repairs accurately in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and other technical teams to resolve complex avionics problems and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Avionics Technician in an aerospace manufacturing, MRO, or airline environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting aircraft wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical publications.
• Demonstrated experience with avionics test equipment and tools.
• Strong understanding of aircraft electrical and electronic systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Eligibility for visa sponsorship in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Aviation Electronics, Avionics Technology, or a related field.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license or equivalent international certification.
• Experience with specific aircraft platforms relevant to Boeing's St. Louis operations (e.g., F-15, F/A-18, T-7).
• Knowledge of digital data bus systems (e.g., ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553).
• Experience with fiber optic technology in avionics applications.
