Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Automotive Production Specialist to join our manufacturing team in Munich, Germany. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production lines, contributing directly to the creation of high-quality premium vehicles. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in an automotive manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of production processes and quality standards. This position is open to English-speaking professionals, and knowledge of German is not required for the role itself, as the primary working language within the team will be English. You will be responsible for various aspects of the production process, from assembly and quality control to process optimization, working within a diverse and international team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment according to safety guidelines and quality standards.
- Perform assembly tasks for automotive components and systems with precision and efficiency.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products and components, identifying and reporting defects.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving minor production issues and machine malfunctions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in line with 5S principles.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to meet production targets.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and environmental protection.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in an automotive manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of assembly processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational training or a technical degree in automotive technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO/TS 16949).
- Experience operating automated production equipment.
