Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team in Newark, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine automotive maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
- Use diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to accurately troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical problems.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle status, repair recommendations, and estimated costs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Automotive Mechanic.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle systems.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
