Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums, and related oral structures.
• Perform a full range of general dental procedures, including preventative, restorative, endodontic, prosthetic, and surgical treatments.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans in consultation with patients, explaining procedures and expected outcomes clearly.
• Administer local anesthesia to patients.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other specialists to ensure seamless patient care.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding dental practice and patient safety.
• Participate in continuing education to stay abreast of new dental technologies and techniques.

Required Skills

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Eligibility for U.S. dental licensure (e.g., successful completion of National Board Dental Examinations).
• Demonstrated clinical proficiency in general dentistry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
• Strong commitment to ethical practice and professional standards.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a private practice or group dental setting.
• Experience with digital dentistry technologies (e.g., intraoral scanners, CAD/CAM).
• Specialized training or interest in areas such as oral surgery, endodontics, or cosmetic dentistry.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and willingness to mentor junior staff.
