Key Responsibilities
- Assist passengers with check-in procedures, including verifying travel documents and issuing boarding passes.
- Handle passenger baggage efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with airline policies.
- Provide clear and concise information to passengers regarding flight schedules, gate changes, and general airport inquiries.
- Direct passengers to appropriate airport facilities and services, offering assistance as needed.
- Assist passengers with special requirements, such as unaccompanied minors, elderly passengers, and those needing wheelchair support.
- Coordinate effectively with various airport departments to facilitate timely boarding and departure processes.
- Address passenger complaints and concerns with professionalism and empathy, escalating complex issues to supervisors when necessary.
- Ensure strict adherence to all aviation safety, security, and operational regulations and procedures.
Required Skills
- Fluency in English (both spoken and written is essential)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A positive, customer-centric attitude and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively and remain calm in a fast-paced, high-pressure airport environment
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20kg)
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Additional language proficiency (e.g., Arabic, Hindi, Tagalog, Mandarin) is highly advantageous
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role (even outside aviation) is a plus
