Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Air-Port Ground Staff in Cleveland, Ohio. This vital role ensures the smooth and safe operation of airport activities, contributing directly to a positive travel experience for our passengers. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks that keep our aircraft on schedule and our customers moving efficiently through the airport environment. This is a dynamic role requiring excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Directing aircraft to and from parking stands.
• Operating ground support equipment such as tugs, baggage loaders, and pushback tractors.
• Loading and unloading passenger luggage, cargo, and mail from aircraft.
• Guiding passengers, especially those requiring assistance, to and from aircraft and around the terminal.
• Performing safety checks on ground equipment and aircraft as required.
• Assisting with aircraft de-icing procedures during inclement weather.
• Communicating effectively with flight crews, air traffic control, and other ground personnel.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and airline procedures.
• Responding to operational needs and passenger requests with professionalism.

Required Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 70 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong commitment to safety and operational procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in an airport, airline, or logistics environment
• Experience operating heavy machinery or ground support equipment
• Fluency in multiple languages
• Familiarity with aviation safety protocols
