Job Description

Nutrien Ag Solutions is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our Field Crew as an Entry-Level Agricultural Worker in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with no prior experience in agriculture who are eager to learn, work outdoors, and contribute to vital farming operations. You will be an integral part of our team, supporting various field tasks under supervision, helping to ensure the efficiency and success of our agricultural projects. We provide on-the-job training and a supportive environment for you to grow your skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting various crops.
• Operate and maintain basic farm equipment and hand tools under supervision.
• Perform manual labor tasks such as weeding, thinning, and pruning.
• Participate in irrigation activities, including setting up and monitoring systems.
• Help with pest and disease scouting, reporting observations to supervisors.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines for field operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Learn and adapt to new farming techniques and technologies.

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
