Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Agile Coach to join our dynamic team in Manchester, UK. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for an international candidate, as visa sponsorship is available. As an Agile Coach, you will be instrumental in guiding multiple teams and organizational units through their agile transformation journey, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and delivery excellence. You will empower teams to adopt Agile principles and practices effectively, driving measurable improvements in productivity, quality, and time-to-market.

Key Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor, and train multiple agile teams on Agile principles, practices, and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, etc.).
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for various stakeholders, including product owners, scrum masters, and development teams.
• Assess current organizational agile maturity and develop tailored coaching plans to address specific challenges and opportunities.
• Help identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress and organizational agility.
• Guide the implementation of Agile metrics and reporting to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability across all levels.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to champion agile adoption and transformation initiatives.
• Provide one-on-one coaching to individuals in leadership and team roles.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in Agile and Lean methodologies.

Required Skills

• Proven experience (minimum 6 years) as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or similar role in a complex enterprise environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile principles, values, and a wide range of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, XP).
• Strong facilitation and training skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), ICAgile Certified Expert (ICE-AC, ICE-PO), or equivalent.
• Experience in large-scale agile transformations.
• Background in software development or IT project management.
• Master's degree in a relevant field.
