Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Adjudicator to join our dispute resolution team in Birmingham. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for impartially reviewing and making decisions on complex administrative cases, ensuring fairness, transparency, and adherence to regulatory frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mind, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of administrative law and procedures. You will work independently to assess evidence, conduct hearings if necessary, and render well-reasoned written decisions that stand up to scrutiny. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough and impartial reviews of administrative appeals and complaints.

  • Draft clear, concise, and legally sound written decisions, orders, and recommendations.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in administrative law, dispute resolution, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to make impartial, well-reasoned decisions under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Law degree (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification.

  • Accreditation or certification in alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
