Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated English-Speaking Hotel & Hospitality Staff to join our vibrant team in Hamburg, Germany. This role is crucial for ensuring our international guests receive exceptional service and enjoy a memorable stay. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, possess excellent communication skills in English, and are eager to contribute to a world-renowned hotel brand. No German language skills are required for this particular position, though an interest in learning is always a plus!
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest service at all times, anticipating needs and exceeding expectations.
- Assist guests with check-in/check-out procedures, inquiries, and requests in English.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately and efficiently.
- Manage guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Support various hotel departments including Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Housekeeping as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment throughout the hotel.
- Process payments and manage cash handling in accordance with hotel policies.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and security standards and procedures.
Required Skills
- Fluency in English (verbal and written) is mandatory.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of hotel management software (e.g., Opera PMS).
- A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Multilingual abilities (beyond English) are a plus, but not required.
