Job Description
Join the Amazon team as a Warehouse Associate in Baltimore, MD. We are looking for motivated individuals to help us pick, pack, and ship customer orders. This entry-level position requires no prior experience, as we provide comprehensive training. You’ll play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring products are handled with care and efficiency to meet our customers’ expectations. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and stow products in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently using handheld scanners.
- Pack and ship orders, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts or reach trucks after receiving certification (training provided).
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures and guidelines.
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds regularly, stand/walk for extended periods, and push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer navigation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment (not required, but a plus).
- Ability to learn and operate powered industrial equipment (training provided).
