Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals for a General Labor position within our manufacturing and processing facilities in San Francisco. This role involves various essential tasks to support our recycling and waste diversion operations. You will be a vital part of a team committed to environmental sustainability and efficient resource management. This is an on-site position requiring physical stamina and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sorting and processing of various materials on conveyor belts.
- Operate baling and compacting machinery as trained and required.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers manually or using equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with routine maintenance and cleaning of facility machinery.
- Support team members in various operational tasks as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures.
- Punctuality and consistent attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or waste management environment.
