Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bellevue, WA. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility of both remote and on-site work. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining our automated CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native solutions. You will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline workflows, ensure system reliability, and scale our applications efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including VMs, containers (AKS), networking, and storage.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features and applications into the existing infrastructure seamlessly.
- Implement and enforce security best practices across all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for critical incidents.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
- Strong proficiency with Azure cloud services (e.g., AKS, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Networking).
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
- Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Familiarity with database administration (SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience with microservices architecture.
