Join Amazon’s dynamic shipping department as a General Laborer. Key Responsibilities

  • Load and unload packages and products from trucks and conveyors.
  • Sort and stage products according to designated areas and shipping routes.
  • Safely operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, manual dollies) after training.
  • Inspect packages for damage and report any issues to supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily operational goals.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds regularly, and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Basic literacy and numerical skills to understand instructions and labels.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to safety and quality.
  • No prior experience required; full training will be provided.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role (even if informal).
  • Familiarity with scanning or inventory management systems (we will train!).
