Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Real Estate Analyst to join our dynamic team in Seattle. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for an individual with a strong foundation in real estate finance and market analysis to contribute to impactful projects. The Real Estate Analyst will be responsible for providing critical support to our brokerage and advisory teams by conducting in-depth market research, financial modeling, and property valuations. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong quantitative skills, and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis, identifying key trends, opportunities, and risks within the Seattle commercial real estate market.
- Develop detailed financial models and pro-forma analyses for various property types, including office, retail, industrial, and multifamily assets.
- Assist in the preparation of Offering Memoranda, broker opinions of value (BOVs), client presentations, and other marketing materials.
- Perform due diligence on real estate transactions, including lease analysis, operating expense reviews, and property condition assessments.
- Gather and interpret economic, demographic, and real estate specific data to support strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with brokers, clients, and other team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery of analytical deliverables.
- Maintain and update internal databases with relevant market data and property information.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
- 2-4 years of experience in commercial real estate analysis, financial modeling, or a related analytical role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced financial modeling skills required) and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of real estate financial concepts, including IRR, NPV, ROI, and capitalization rates.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Authorization to work in the USA (visa sponsorship available).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Real Estate, Finance, or an MBA.
- Experience with real estate specific software such as Argus Enterprise, CoStar, or MRI.
- CFA or CCIM designation, or progress towards such designations.
- Familiarity with the Seattle commercial real estate market.
